Miller has already scored 10 goals for Rangers this season.
Jelavic scored the winner while Miller scored the other two goals in the 2-3 away win against Rangers on Sunday.
He said: “It is nice to play with him. You can see in every match how easy it is for him to score. I hope he will stay with us.
“Confidence is important for a striker and he looks like he will score every time. When you have full confidence you feel as if you can’t miss – he is the perfect example of this.
“I don’t think about whether Kenny will leave but everyone hopes he will stay. The way he played against Aberden showed how important he is for us.
“We didn’t start well in the first 25 minutes but we then showed we were the better team. We displayed a lot of character and we deserved it.
“It was a good test ahead of the Champions League game but we made some mistakes in defence.
“After going 2-0 down it was not easy to win the match. It was nice to score but it is my job.
“It was important to remain top of the table ahead of Celtic. But we will take it match by match and not look at them. We want to win every game.”
