Il Messaggero reports that Simplicio is likely to leave Roma in January as he is struggling to settle at the club.
Simplicio signed a three-year contract when he joined Roma from Palermo on a free transfer in the summer.
The Brazilian has made just one appearance for Roma so far this season.
