Juventus star turned down Inter Milan move

Krasic and Juventus will face rivals Inter Milan on Sunday evening.

“It’s true that Inter were after me and at the World Cup Dejan Stankovic was urging me to come to San Siro with him,” Krasic told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Once the concrete offer from Juve came in, I didn’t have the slightest doubt. I strongly wanted the Bianconeri.

“It was their history, victories and prestige, which at Juventus is something incredible and unique.

“When the Bianconeri directors came forward for me, it was as if a lifelong dream had come true. I never thought I could aim so high.”

He added: “I can’t wait to play the Derby d’Italia and just the idea has me excited. It is the clash that most represents Italian football and the most important game of my career, along with the UEFA Cup Final won with CSKA Moscow in 2005.”
