The 22-year-old is delighted to have been offered a new deal by the Spanish side.
“The club offered me this contract because they trust me and that is something I am completely satisfied with, they are happy with my job, but my representative [his father, Juan] handles the contract matters,” he told Super Deporte.
“The truth is that I’m very happy that they trust in me. It will be a great joy to sign soon, the truth is that there is willingness on both sides to resolve my future with Valencia. I’m happy, everything is on the right track and hopefully it will be resolved soon.
“It’s a good time for Valencia, the start of the league has been brilliant, but now we must try to continue it as far possible.”
