Sportmediaset reports that Inter Milan are in the market for a new defender and has identified Barzagli as the ideal signing.
Barzagli has failed to make the expected impact at Wolfsburg since joining the club from Palermo in the summer of 2008.
The 29-year-old’s contract at Wolfsburg is set to expire at the end of the season.
