Werder Bremen are keen to strengthen at the back in the January transfer window.
German newspaper Bild reports that the club are interested in signing 25-year-old Safari.
“Behrang will not stay in Switzerland. He wants to play in a great league,” Safari’s agent Martin Dahlin is reported to have said.
