Gyan scored both goals in the 2-0 win over the Potters on Saturday.
He told the club’s official website: “We came back from last week’s defeat and I dedicate this win to the fans because last week was so important to them and we lost.
“I thank God too because I am a good Christian.
“It was very important we went ahead early, for the fans and for everybody. We got that goal and it gave us confidence.
“Scoring in the early stages of the game was very important for the team.”
Gyan said of his second goal: “I wanted to stop the ball but I saw the goalkeeper off his line so I decided to shoot with just one touch.
“It was a great shot. He wasn’t expecting it. I took him by surprise and I hit it well.
“We won this game for the fans. Everyone is happy right now.”
