Roma have had a poor start to the season but Menez will not be giving up on their title challenge.
Menez said: “Our objective is to win the Scudetto.
“Claudio Ranieri respects me and I believe that I will be in top form in two months’ time.
“Rome is a strange place. It’s not easy to establish yourself here.”
