Borussia Dortmund managed to win the game 2-0, against a Hamburg side that Klopp described as ‘defensive’.
“It was very difficult on a tough surface against an opponent who was set up in a very defensive manner. We were unable to create any clear-cut chances,” Klopp told Sky.
“After the half-time break everything clicked into place and we showed a clear improvement. Hamburg then became more proactive, which gave us a few difficulties. However, after our second goal, the game was over.”
