Fletcher scored his fourth goal of the season in the 3-2 defeat to Bolton on Saturday.
He told the Wolves website: “It was nice to get on and get a goal but results aren’t going our way just now, so it’s disappointing.
“I don’t think the early goal helped us – just like it didn’t help us against Arsenal. If we can erase them then we’ll be alright.
“The defence have been fantastic over the last few games, but we’ve just been unlucky conceding those early goals. People might say nothing’s going right for us at the moment, but it stems from us as well.
“We need to do better and we will – we’ve got the players to do it and hopefully we can erase that and push on.
“I think people can see we’ve got the confidence – we’re playing good football, so it’s not as if we’re playing terribly and losing.
“We know we’ve got the players here with the ability to win games and hopefully we can do that this week.”
