The 19-year-old picked up the injury while away on international duty for Netherland Under-21.
Jozefzoon made his debut for the Under-21 side in the 3-1 win over Denmark and sustained the knee injury in the same game.
Jozefzoon underwent surgery on Monday and will be out of action for the rest of the year.
