Scolari was linked with the position as Sven-Goran Eriksson’s successor as England boss.
He said: “I would like to be in England because of the involvement of the game, the spectacular organisation and the people in football.
“I don’t think about English clubs at the moment. I don’t have a choice to make. I can adapt to any place. It depends on the offer that is made, the financial offer, the standard of living and so on. I can consider any offer after 2008.”
He also said: “My first thought is to see out my contract with Portugal to 2008 and help the team to qualify.
“If we do not achieve that, it is not a very good situation.
“I do not see myself returning (to Brazil) right away. My family is settled in Europe, but I don’t know where I’m going to be. For the moment, I am staying here.”
