Blackpool had a 2-0 lead but failed to hang on to it as Bolton battles back late on with goals from Martin Petrov and Mark Davies.
“We were brilliant, a little bit naive, but to play like we did against Bolton in the form they were in,” Holloway said.
“I believe that playing like that will get us more points than it loses us.
“I am not disappointed. I thought my team were absolutely brilliant; we came here, took the game to them, passed it and moved it and created a lot of chances.
“DJ Campbell deserved to get two goals and how he didn’t I don’t know.
“Jaaskelainen made a vital save because if we had got a third goal it would have been sayonara.
“Unfortunately it wasn’t and the last goal was a brilliant goal so I’m not even upset about it.
“I can’t be disappointed with that performance. I thought we were fantastic.
“I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a match so much in my life. We caused them, a really good side, some problems and how we haven’t got all three points I don’t know – but that is football for you.
“I would have paid to watch that.”
