The Swedish midfielder has failed to win a regular place in the first team, and has often been used in an unfamiliar left back role by coach Claude Puel.
The 28 year old’s contract ends this summer, and he told L’Equipe: “I have mixed feelings. I have been here for a long time, but I am no longer playing the big matches. I am happy here. I didn’t play much in the beginning of the season, but the situation has improved slightly the last two months.”
