Aston Villa have long been linked with a move for Carrick, but Fulham have now joined the chase, according to the People.
Reports claim United boss Sir Alex Ferguson may decide to let Carrick leave at the end of the season.
Fulham would reportedly be prepared to pay around £7 to £8million for the midfielder.
