La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli are in the market for a new midfielder and are interested in signing Bender.
Napoli have previously been linked with Udinese star Gokhan Inler, but the Switzerland ace is reportedly to expensive for the club.
Bender’s current contract with Leverkusen is set to expire in the summer of 2012.
