Buffon has yet to appear under the former Sampdoria coach as he has been injured, but his attitude has irked Del Neri.
Buffon has failed to appear at the club’s training ground as often as they would have liked, and Moratta said: “There is the utmost respect for him (Buffon). What Del Neri wanted to say is that the coach is the manager of the group and that it’s up to him to make the decisions.”
