The Switzerland international has long been linked with a move away from Udinese.
“The chances of a January move are slim, but president Gino Pozzo has told me that he may consider it,” said Dino Lamberti, according to Calciomercato.com.
“However, that would only be the case if Inler requested to move on and there would obviously need to be an offer which was to Udinese’s satisfaction.
“Napoli are an important club and one destined to do well in the future, but I haven’t had any contact with them.”
