Gyan has beens truggling with a toe problem and was forced to play through the pain barrier against Fulham last time.
The Sunderland boss told the club’s official website: “Asa’s okay. He’s been a little bit sore but is moving freely now and we expect him to be fully fit by the end of the week.”
Gordon missed the clash with Fulham with a hamstring problem but is expected to be fit to face Bolton.
Bruce added: “Craig returned to training yesterday and he should be okay for the weekend.”
