The England man told the Daily Star: “We’ve never really had a settled backline since I’ve been here.
“I have played with numerous people and now it is the most settled it has been and we’re getting our reward for that.
“We’ve got a good understanding of each other’s games.
“I’ve gained a lot of experience over the years and Nemanja is willing to learn as well. He’s doing that at a great rate at the moment.
“We’ve got the bit between our teeth to go on and keep getting the right results.”
