The Red Devils face the Blues at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday.
United have failed to win a league game at Chelsea since 2002.
“It doesn’t get any bigger than a trip to Chelsea,” Giggs told the club’s official website.
“Hopefully we can change the record we’ve had there for the last few years because we haven’t won for a few years.
“Everyone’s been buzzing since Monday. It was a great performance and a great win against Arsenal. Hopefully we can kick on now during what is always a difficult part of the season because there are so many games in such a short space of time.”
He added: “We’ve seen over the last few years what a tough place Stamford Bridge is to go to and we’ll need to be at our best, just as we were on Monday. We know a win on Sunday would put us in a great position.
“I don’t know why we seem to come good around this time. I think the international breaks disrupted the season early on in the campaign, but when we know we need to win and need to perform we seem to produce the goods.
“The experience the manager has of getting players ready for the business end of the season is a big part of it all and it’s something he’s very good at.”
