Kapo is keen to impress after making his return against St Johnstone on Boxing Day.
“It is true that I had a little trouble with my calf muscle but that is all behind me now and I am raring to go,” he told the Daily Record.
“I am just so happy finally to have the chance to get back playing and to have been able to help the team get a victory.
“I have to prove myself on the pitch with performances like the one against St Johnstone. That is going to be the key for me.
“If I play with freedom and show my skills, I am confident I can contribute significantly to the team and impress the manager.
“The Old Firm derby is one of the greatest games in the world. It can be compared with the likes of Inter Milan against AC Milan.
“Any player who likes to play on the biggest stages thrives on such occasions and I am no different.
“I would relish the opportunity to play against Rangers on Sunday but I would also relish the opportunity to face Motherwell.”
