The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City, after impressing for Espanyol this season.
He told Com Radio: “I have made it clear that I want to stay for a long time at Espanyol.
“I owe thanks to this club for allowing me to earn a living doing what I like, which is playing football. I feel very comfortable in my city, with my family and friends, and I just think what surrounds me in Espanyol, which is fantastic.”
