Jol resigned from his role at the club in December, and De Boer has been announced as his replacement as he has first hand knowledge of the club’s youth system.
He has worked with the club academy since 2006, and his current role will involve bringing through more youngsters to help Ajax cope with their current financial problems whilst remaining competitive.
