Henry has been out of action since November with a knee ligament damage, but featured in a friendly with Leicester on Tuesday.
“The knee feels fine and I just felt a bit leggy having not played for seven weeks which was always going to happen,” Henry told the club’s official website.
“It does seem a long time I’ve been out and I’m just glad to be back in amongst things. It may have only been a reserve game at this stage but it was good to be out there.
“I trained for a couple of days last week and will be back with them tomorrow ahead of the weekend. Hopefully I’ll be available for the weekend and it’s up to the gaffer from there.”
