Bayern Munich are currently fifth in the league, 14 points behind Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund.
“If [Borussia] Dortmund show weakness, then we will be there, I am sure. We still believe in the title. If you saw the way we trained in Qatar, then you would think we have the best team in Germany,” said Nerlinger on the club’s official website.
“The gap up to second place in the league has shrunk for us. We are under pressure from the start now, we can’t afford to take any liberties or go through any more bad spells.
“Qualification for the Champions League next season is an absolute must, so victory now is terribly important.”
