Man Utd keeper turned down Leicester move

Eriksson tried to bring in Kuszczak on a loan, but the goalkeeper is keen to stay at Old Trafford to fight for his place.

“Tomasz doesn’t want to come to us,” said Eriksson.

Eriksson insists that he will only be looking to bring in a ‘top keeper’ to replace his current keeper Chris Weale.

Eriksson added “I am only interested if he is a top, top keeper. The goalkeeper we have, Chris Weale, is doing very well for us so I am rather confident in him.

“We are not going out to buy just a goalkeeper. It must be an absolute top keeper or we will stay with what we have.

“I think the last few games Chris has played he has been brilliant for us.”
