But Lopez insists that he has not held talks over a move to the club.
“I don’t know anything about it, but it would make me happy. Napoli are a great team,” the 26-year-old told Radio Kiss Kiss.
Lopez admits that he would like to play alongside Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani at Napoli.
He said: “A trident with Cavani and Lavezzi would be a very important step in my career.
“It’s an honour to know about [Napoli president] Aurelio De Laurentiis’ interest. I hope that we can talk about it in June.”
