“There’s lots of rumours going around, but that’s the truth, and something I want to put behind me. One rumour said that was why Boa Morte left , that’s a funny one.
“I’ve been out of the side for about two months now and before I broke my jaw I was really happy with my form.
“It happened at a crucial time because there was an England game coming up and Steve McClaren made a lot of changes ‘ you think to yourself, ‘If I didn’t break my jaw, maybe I’d have got in.’
“There’s 13 games to go and I just want to get back and have a good end to the season.”
