Maccarone will move to Sampdoria in a deal reportedly worth around €3million.
Palermo have confirmed the deal on their official website: “U.S. Citta di Palermo announces that it has sold striker Massimo Maccarone to UC Sampdoria. The player is transferred outright to the Genoa club.”
