Freiburg have admitted that they will struggle to hold on to the striker in the summer.
“Freiburg do not want to sell, but they are a smaller club and will sell at the right price,” Cisse’s agent Guido Nickolay said. “They know the figure they want for him – but I cannot say it.
“They are ready to do business in the summer. But it isn’t just Premier League clubs who want him – there are clubs in Italy and Spain, too.
“There was interest from the Premier League in January but Freiburg made sure they kept him until the end of the season. There will be more, but now it won’t be until the summer.”
