The 34-year-old’s contract with Corinthians expires at the end of 2011, but the former Barcelona striker has been struggling with regular injury problems and is ready to quit.
“I can’t take it any more,” Ronaldo told the Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper’s website. “I wanted to carry on, but I can’t. I plan a move (in a game) but I can execute as I wish. The time is up.”
