Marseille are looking to bring in a new left-back as Taye Taiwo is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
“I have received a phone call from a Marseille representative asking whether Vurnon would be interested in a transfer. We are keeping all options open. You don’t turn down a club like Marseille just like that,” said Lulofs to De Telegraaf.
Anita’s current contract with Ajax is set to expire in the summer of 2012.
Lulofs added: “Ajax told us in November that they wanted to open contract talks in the beginning of 2011. Nothing has happened so far, but we understand that the club’s been busy with other things. Vurnon is feeling very well at Ajax and would never cause any problems.”
