Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is keen to beat Liverpool in the race for the 25-year-old in the summer transfer market.
Spurs and Liverpool made moves for the Blackpool star in the January transfer window, but the club denied all offers.
Adam has recently conceded that Blackpool had been right not to sell him in January.
“It probably is right I stayed until the end of the season and help them stay in the Premier League,” he said.
“I can see the manager’s point of view but at the time it was difficult. If I’d left, people would have said ‘He’s jumping ship’.
“If the opportunity comes in the future to move on, I want to leave on the best note I can.”
