Wilson has developed into a key player for Celtic since joining the club from Dundee United in 2006.
Wilson’s previous deal was set to expire at the end of the season.
A Celtic statement read: “Celtic Football Club is delighted to announce that Mark Wilson has agreed a new one year contract with the club, with Celtic having the option of a further year.”
