England boss Fabio Capello is expected to make a raft of changes to his side following the Three Lions’ win over Wales on Saturday.
Mensah said: “This is the first time we are going to play against England so it is very important to us.
“I’m not too worried about those not playing because anyone who plays for England are capable of doing the job.
“Maybe the fans would prefer to see people like Wayne Rooney but I don’t think those that are playing are not good.
“I know that if they have the national jersey, they are good players.
“It is going to be an historic match because if we win against England, we make history and we want to do that.
“We do not under-rate England – whoever plays for them.”
