Arsenal have endured a miserable period, having gone out of three competitions and suffering a series of injuries which have contributed to the club falling five points behind Manchester United in the league.
They are also hopeful that Robin van Persie, who picked up an injury on international duty for Holland in the week, will be fit for this weekend.
