Larsson’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and the midfielder was strongly linked with a January move to Manchester City.
“It’s not interesting at all,” Larsson’s agent Per Jonsson told Fotbollskanalen.se when asked if his client could sign a contract extension at Birmingham.
“Of course I see difficulties in him staying at Birmingham,” added Jonsson.
He added: “It doesn’t bother Sebastian. We are not in negotiations.
“The new owners have no feelings for Sebastian and they need to realise that there has been a problem there.
“They might have seen that, but they haven’t found a way around it.”
