Corinthians are building a stadium, the Itaquera, which is intended to hold 65,000 fans, and its construction has been delayed by a dispute over who will pay for the ground.
But it is believed that the stadium will take 33 months to build, which would mean that it would not be able to be used in 2013, despite the ground intended to host the opening game of the 2014 World Cup.
