The 22-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Hertha Berlin and will join the club in the summer.
“We are very happy that we managed to sign Thomas [Kraft] for Hertha BSC. When you have the chance to sign a player of his class for free, it would be negligent if we did not show interest,” Hertha sporting director Michael Preetz told the club’s official website.
“Thomas Kraft was courted by many clubs because he is a goalkeeper with great ability and potential. This makes me pleased that he will be playing for Hertha.”
“Hertha is a great challenge for me. Michael Preetz and Markus Babbel have told me of their plans and vision for Hertha and I’m totally convinced. I am very happy to be playing for [Hertha] BSC in the Bundesliga,” Kraft said.
