Reports have suggested that AC Milan could make a €30million move for the 23-year-old midfielder.
“It’s wonderful that Milan are interested in me, but if an offer arrived then I’d have to talk to Napoli first,” Hamsik told Sme.
“But I am accustomed to the newspapers writing things that don’t come true.
“If an offer arrived then I would have to talk to Napoli first. I would like to try playing for a club that regularly challenges for the Scudetto and Champions League.”
