Reports claim Lille could decide to sign Pedretti as a replacement for Yohan Cabaye, who is set to join Newcastle United.
Pedretti told La Voix du Nord: “As of today, the interest of Lille attracts me. It is a very good club with great, interesting challenges. Now, I hope the leaders of the two clubs will meet this week to agree. My choice is to come to Lille.”
“I have been in contact with Lille for a little over a year now, mainly because they were preparing for the departure of Yohan Cabaye,” he added.
“But eventually he [Cabaye] stayed and we had the Champions League to play with Auxerre, so I stayed.”
