Spanish newspaper AS reports that the Malaga owner wants the club to compete for European qualification next season.
Malaga have been linked with several star players including the likes of Palermo’s Javier Pastore, Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and Valencia star Joaquin.
Malaga could also make a move for Osasuna full-back Nacho Monreal.
