The 32-year-old’s contract at Bayern is set to expire in the summer and he could join Lazio on a free transfer.
“I am evaluating offers, and among these [there is one] from Lazio,” he told Il Corriere dello Sport.
He added: “I have followed Lazio a lot and I know they have a good squad with players like [Mauro] Zarate, Hernanes and [Cristian] Ledesma.
“I have to speak with the Lazio directors, but if I go there I will not disappoint the fans.”
