The 22-year-old has become a key player for Swansea since joining the club from Chelsea last summer. Sinclair scored 27 goals for Swansea this season.
“I don’t care if people start linking me to other clubs, I’m going to be playing with Swansea every week. I’m not going to go to another Premier League club and sit on the bench,” he told the Daily Express.
“I could have gone on loan again last summer but I’d had enough of that and reached the decision that I would leave. I think it’s the best decision I’ve made.
“People ask if it was a step down to drop into the Championship but, with week in, week out football, I knew, with my qualities, I’d be back in the Premier League one day.
“I had the opportunity to sign for another Premier League club when I was leaving Chelsea but I sat down with my family and nothing seemed right. I decided it was best for me to go with a manager who knows me and gives me confidence.
“Brendan Rodgers was one of the main reasons I came to Swansea. I can only thank the manager for the way the whole season has gone for me.
“When you go on loan you’re not part of a team. Now I’m feeling part of a team, I’ve got a contract and you can feel all the emotions.”
