The 30-year-old will replace Yohan Cabaye, who is set to join Premier League side Newcastle United.
Pedretti admitted earlier this week that he wanted a move to Lille.
“It [Lille] is a very good club with great, interesting challenges,” said Pedretti.
“Now, I hope the leaders of the two clubs will meet this week to agree. My choice is to come to Lille.
“I have been in contact with Lille for a little over a year now, mainly because they were preparing for the departure of Yohan Cabaye.
“But eventually he [Cabaye] stayed and we had the Champions League to play with Auxerre, so I stayed.”
