The 42-year-old is favourite for the job as manager at Griffin Park.
He told the Hounslow Chronicle: “I don’t want to go into too much detail but I have been in contact with Brentford. We are in permanent dialogue and I’m keen to manage in England.
“Both parties are interested with working with each other but nothing is agreed so far.”
