Rossi has recently been strongly linked with a move to the Catalan giants, but still has four years left on his current contract at Villarreal.
Pique said: “We arrived at Old Trafford at the same time and we were in the same team for a few years.
“He has loads of talent. He knows how to go long, come short, he has a good touch, and he is very quick.
“As a person he is ten out of then. He would be very welcome.”
