Aftonbladet reports that West Brom have been impressed by Toivonen’s performances for PSV last season.
West Brom are keen to strengthen their squad this summer and manager Roy Hodgson tried to sign Toivonen while in charge of Liverpool last year.
Toivonen’s current contract at PSV is set to expire in the summer of 2012.
