The Italian swallowed his tongue in the clash against Reading at the Madejski stadium on Saturday.
Cudicini said: “After what happened to Petr I know that I have been lucky.
“What happened to him was absolutely awful and I hope he will recover as quickly as possible. I will go and see him at hospital and have a chat.
“I’m OK. I have just a little headache but apart from that I’m OK. I remember nothing about the actual incident.
“All I remember is a sequence of corners and then, after that, being in the ambulance with the doctor. I am told that’s normal after a head injury. I have quite a big bump on my head but the scan is OK.
“It’s just a matter of letting two or three days pass and having some more medical tests and then I hope I’ll do my usual work.”
